This is a super versatile mermaid doll pattern that’s really easy to customize. The doll I made is about 15 inches long.

You can use just about any color for this, but I used three different colors for the skin, tail, and fins of my mermaid. Make sure to use Aran weight yarn for the tail, or there may be some fiberfill visible. You can use a worsted weight for the fins if you want. I’ve also used 2 different color worsted weight yarns at the same time for the tail part. Patons Metallic yarns look nice for this, but they’re so thin that I actually had to use three strands at once to avoid seeing the fiberfill through the crochet.
