Gauge isn’t crucial for this project, and it’s almost impossible to measure with the Go for Faux yarn. But if you want to match mine on the red portion of the hat, it’s 3 rounds in pattern = 4” tall.
I wouldn’t recommend making this hat for infants, as the Baked Alaska yarn might shed some floof that a baby could inhale or swallow.
The pattern contains instructions on how to size the hat for any age from child to adult.
From the listed amount of yarn, I made one child-sized hat and one adult-sized hat and still had some of both types of yarn left over.
