Just a pattern created for my own personal use from a public-domain Selbu pattern. I do sometimes have these mittens available on Etsy, but I’m not worried about competition (I don’t really have time to make that many).

Knit on size 3 needles, this pattern fits most women. Size can be adjusted for larger women or not-too large men’s hands by going up to a size 4 or 5. For larger men’s, you might want to use slightly thicker yarn as well.

I use this basic pattern to make custom designs - removing the leafy shape from the center and adding a different design is a great way to quickly create a “can you make me mittens with (this thing) on them” special request pattern. A couple examples are included. (one shown is my Worsted Horse Mittens, which use this background.
