This beanie is slightly slouchy in shape and can be knit with either a single or double brim. The beautiful Cut Jewels stitch pattern is created by alternating sections of ribs and garter stitch. This beanie looks great with or without a pompom, is a perfect unisex style beanie, and is also lovely for children and babies. 5 sizes are included in this pattern - 3-6 Month Baby, 6-12 Month Baby, Toddler, Child, and Adult - and it is very beginner friendly.

What you will need:
Single Brim: 81 (85, 87, 92, 102) yd (74, 78, 80, 82, 93 m) in any bulky (category 5) weight yarn (like We Are Knitters The Petite Wool)
Double Brim: 104 (109, 112, 118, 127) yd (95, 100, 102, 108, 116 m) in any bulky (category 5) weight yarn (like We Are Knitters The Petite Wool)
A faux fur pompom (optional)
Size 10.5 US (6.5 mm) circular knitting needles with a 16” cable
4 Size 10.5 US (6.5 mm) double pointed knitting needles (optional)
1 stitch marker
Tapestry yarn needle
Scissors

Skill level: Beginner

Skills needed: Casting on, knit stitch, purl stitch, knitting in the round.
