Cute as a Button Cowl
This simple elegant cowl is perfect for everyday wear.
This design came about because I wanted something I could quickly put on for the morning school run that was quick to make and easy to style. I adore cotton but had trouble finding a chunky cotton yarn so I ‘made’ my own with 2 strands of my favourite Bendigo Woollen Mills cotton.
Because it is made with 2 strands of 8ply / DK weight yarn it can be made in almost any colour, fibre and brand yarn you desire (or have on hand!). I’ve also included instructions to adapt this pattern for different weight yarns so you really can use anything you want.
Plus the button closure means you can wear this cowl in many different ways making it one of the most versatile accessories in your closet.
