Cute-as-can-be Baby Booties
From Knitting Pretty: “I always know someone who is having a baby. What better gift to help welcome the little tyke into the world than a pair of traditional baby booties? They knit up in no time, will keep baby’s feet warm, and will thrill the proud parents. Because booties incorporate many different operations in a small space, they can be tricky, so it’s important to know where you are in the pattern at all times. You will be knitting the sole and the rest of the bootie separately, then stitching them together.”
Size: Use size 7 (4.5mm) needles for newborns or use larger needles for bigger booties.
The sample in the book was knit using Peace Fleece Worsted.
