This cute baby octopus is made with a round body and eight tentacles.
It is destined to a child but it is so cute your may want to keep it on your shelve !

The pattern is very easy to follow with step-by-step pictures. You can try it as your first crochet work.
If you are used to crochet amigurumis you can dowload the shorter pattern without pictures.

HOOK
This pattern can be work with any hook you want. Refer to your yarn’s hook size recommendations and go one size smaller : it will give structure to your octopus.

YARN
This pattern has been tested with Worsted, Bulky and Aran yarn (10-12 ply). Keep in mind the yarn you choose should be slightly bigger than your crochet size.
You will need 2 yarn colors :

• Main color : about 120-150m / 131-164 yards of yarn
• Secondary color : about 80-120m / 87-131 yards of yarn. You can use more than one secondary color to have multicolor tentacles.

In addition, you will need a bit of black and withe yarn for the eyes.

OTHER MATERIAL
Fiberfill stuffing, 1 or 2 rattles (optional).
