A re-usable gift wrapper made as an Easter Bunny und knitted by yourself! What a great idea for next Easter!
Fill in whatever you want:
- Sweet goodies like chocolate eggs, bunnies or candy
- Small toys like toy cars, puppets or small booklets
- Make-up accessories for the young lady – eyeshadow, lipstick, powder …
- Colored Easter eggs
- A shirt or a scarf
- Jewelry or some bling-bling
People produce too much trash, especially for unnecessary wrapping of gifts for Christmas, birthdays, Easter and all the other occasions.
Stop this and knit the nicest packing ever for the gifts for your beloved ones! They will love it!!!
It will not take more than 3 hours to knit this bag in the size of 23 x 16 cm. You want it larger or smaller? No problem. You can transfer the pattern into any size you like.
You purchase a 11-pages pattern (e-book, pdf) including many additional explanations and pics of the most important steps of procedure.
Basic skills, such as knit and purl are required, everything else is explained in detail.
Here ´s what you need:
- 50 g cotton (for this size) with a yardage of 125m/50g (DK/Worsted)
- Double-pointed needles size 3,5 (US: 4)
- 50 cm wire 1 mm (or something similar) to stiffen the ears. Don´t use a wire, if the bag is for a baby. A wire could cause injuries!!!
- 2 black buttons (Ø 1 cm) or puppet eyes
- some pink yarn to embroider bunny´s nose and mouth
- 2 ribbons, e.g. 5mm satin or organza; or simply use a very bulky yarn (length: 3 x width of the bag; here: approx.. 50 cm)
- Embroidery needle, scissors
