This pattern was inspired by Fiona Warrington of Crafty Flo and Sew. Her purse design uses tapestry wools and the beautifully simple premise of a short cylinder with a circle base that matches the size of the purse frame. My version is made in hand-dyed sock yarn (4ply); it starts with a hexagonal base and has a ‘pear-shaped’ construction. It is perfect for showcasing gorgeous, one-of-a-kind yarns.
