• #4 Worsted Weight Yarn (Two colors, one for main body and one for the beak). About 26 g or 57 yds of main-body colored yarn and about 0.3 g or 0.7 yds of beak-colored yarn are needed. I use Loops and Threads Impeccable Solids in Butterscotch and Pumpkin for my example.
• 3.5 mm. or E-4 Crochet hook
• Stitch marker
• Stuffing
• Scissors
• Yarn/tapestry needle
• 10 mm. safety eyes with backings
