Daisy Beanie Crochet

The hat is worked in the round with a hook, bottom-up. First work a single crochet ribbing, then work modified single crochet along the edge of the ribbing in rounds.
A pom is attached to the top.

YARN

Yarn Drops Fabel (75% Wool, 25% Polyamide) 1.8 oz (50 g) = approx 224 yds (205 m) or any other fingering/socks yarn to achieve gauge.
cornflower blue (uni colour 116) – 2 skeins
off white (uni colour 100) - 2 skeins
mustard (uni colour 111) – a little
for a Pom – 0,5 skein

2 strands of fingering yarn

MATERIALS:

Main Hook: 4 mm (G hook), or hook to obtain gauge for adult S size
Main Hook: 4.5 mm, or hook to obtain gauge for adult M size

Smaller size Hook: 3.50 mm (E hook) for ribbing for adult S size
Smaller size Hook: 3.50 mm (E hook) for ribbing for adult M size

GAUGE:

20 x 17 sts 4 x 4 inch = 20 stitches in width and 17 rows in height with modified single crochet and 2 strands
22 x 18 sts 4 x 4 inch = 22 stitches in width and 18 rows in height with modified single crochet and 2 strands
