Cute Egg Coasters
These cute crochet egg coasters are super quick to make and is a fun decor item for your Easter table.
Supplies/Materials:
Yarn – Vinnis Colours Nikkim (cotton yarn) – approx 26 yards (24 meters) for one coasters and approx 10 yards for edging (8 meters); Weight – DK (11 wpi) 3 : Light.
Hook – 3, 50 mm (E) – I used Clover
Scissors
Yarn needle
Abbreviations: US Terminology
CH – chain
SL ST – slip stitch
SC – single crochet (UK – DC)
HDC – half double crochet (UK – HTR)
DC – double crochet (UK – TR)
TR – treble crochet (UK – DTR)
BLP – back loop
Gauge:
With yarn listed and 3, 50 mm (E) hook final coaster should measure 3 ½ inches in width (widest part) and 5 inches in length (10 x 13 cm).
However gauge is NOT necessary for this project to be perfect
Finished Size:
Coaster – 3 ½ inches in width (widest part) and 5 inches in length (10 x 13 cm).
Pattern Notes:
Due to the nature of this pattern – the yarn and hook used is only a suggestion and any substitute may be used.
Size of finished product will vary depending on yarn and also size of hook used.
