Cute Little Cluster Purse
Hello, this is my pattern for my Cute Little Cluster Purse! I created this pattern when I was making a purse for a little girl who loved to play dress up then I also made another one for an adult who loved the colour brown. As you can see in the pictures there is a pink purse, which the pattern also includes the 2 different size heart appliqués and there is also a brown purse without the hearts created for a teen or a adult. Both purse bodies are created the same but instructions are given on how to change the strap length from a child length to a adult length. I had also lined my purses with fabric but I am sorry this pattern does not include fabric lining instructions. Maybe in the future I may make a video for how I do mine….
This pattern calls for 2 different hook sizes, 1 is for the purse it’s self and the other is for the heart appliqués so if you don’t want to make the hearts you will only need the 5mm hook. Gauge is not really that important for this purse except that when I tell you in the pattern to make a certain stitch tighter or looser, these are just given tips to help avoid a hole or to help manage tension in that area.
I used a Patons Canadiana 205 yard skein in the colour Raspberry for the pink purse and I still had quite a bit of yarn left over so if you have 200 yards of a 4 weight yarn you have enough to make this purse. For the brown purse I used a Red Heart Soft 256 yard skein in the colour Toast. If you are wanting to make the heart appliqués you just need a little bit of any colour yarn you like in a 4 weight yarn and less then 100 yards will be fine for the hearts. As for sewing the hearts in place on the purse, you can use the same colour as the hearts or use a new different contrasting colour like I did and sew them on sporadically to make them look like patch work.
So that’s it for this patterns info, if you have any questions or need any help with my patterns you can message me here on ravelry BUT you would get ahold of me a lot easier and faster if you join my Facebook group called: Crochet For Love! Plus you would also get to see new upcoming patterns that I am working on releasing in the future! Well I do hope you enjoy this pattern and I do hope you will join me in my group too! I’d love to see you there! :)
Happy crocheting! Enjoy making your own cute little cluster purse! <3
