SHORT OVERVIEW

The hat is worked in the round with circular needle, bottom up. Change to double pointed needles when necessary. First work rib 1/1, then work stripes in stockinette stitch.
A pom pom is attached to the top.

COLORS:

Red (uni colour) 3620 – 2 skeins ;
White (uni colour) 1101 - 1 skein;
If you want red pom pom - 1 additional skein.

SIZE

Teenager Head circumference: 51-55 (20-21.5 inch)
Adult Head circumference: 56–60 cm (22–23.5 inch)

Depth (height) of hat (from the lapel to the place where the pompom is attached): 25-26 cm

GAUGE:

10 x 10 cm 4 x 4 inch = 20 stitches in width and 26 rows/rounds in height with stockinette stitch, after blocking.

MATERIALS:

16 inch (40 cm) US 4 (3.5 mm) circular needles or US 4 (3.5 mm) double pointed needles.
Yarn Drops Nepal (65% wool, 35% alpaca) 82 yds/1.75 oz (75 m/50 g).
