ABOUT PUMPKINS:
September is the perfect time to start making DIY Fall decor. The crochet pumpkins also make perfect Halloween decorations. They make a festive Fall centerpiece on a coffee table or dining room table. Display the pumpkins throughout your home as a pumpkin stack or place them individually.
The small pumpkin measures approximately 5.5 cm (2 in.), and the big pumpkin measures approximately 6.5 cm (2.5 in.) when made with the yarn I used. For this sample, I used 2.25 mm (B) and 1.50 mm (2) crochet hooks and fine / sport / 5 ply weight yarn. The pattern can also work well with yarns of other weights, but the size of the finished toy may vary.
