This is a beginner friendly pattern; it uses basic stitches, what makes it advanced in our eyes is the chart and colour change, however once you’ve got the hang of charts and colour changes it really is a simple one at that.

Gauge:
4 inch by 4 inch = 14 stitches and 20 rows to 10cm/4in measured over stocking (stockinette) stitch using 6mm (US 10) needles
