SHORT OVERVIEW

The hat is worked in the round with circular needle, bottom up. Change to double pointed needles when necessary. First work rib 2/1, then work stripes in stockinette stitch.
A pom pom is attached to the top.

One size to fit adult

Head circumference: 55–58 cm (22–23 inch)
Depth (height) of hat (from the lapel to the place where the pompom is attached): 28 cm (11 inches)

GAUGE:

10 x 10 cm 4 x 4 inch = 24 stitches in width and 28 rows/rounds in height with stockinette stitch, after blocking.

MATERIALS:

16 inch (40 cm) US 4 (3.5 mm) circular needles or US 4 (3.5 mm) double pointed needles.
Yarn Drops Lima (65% wool, 35% alpaca) 109 yds/1.8 oz (100 m/50 g).
