The Cutie Tie Crop Top is a great project for beginners as well as more advanced knitters who want to make something simple yet adorable.

The top is knitted as one piece, then the side seams are sewn together and the seam sits down the back of the garment.

The straps are crocheted on using the double crochet stitch (explanation included in the pattern)

This top is great all year round and goes with jeans, skirts or even with your trackies when you’re chilling at home.

When lying flat, the top will measure approx.:
18.5 cm high x 36cm wide for the S
21cm high x 38cm wide for the M/L
25cm high x 43cm wide for the XL

The great thing about this project is that it doesn’t require much yarn so is great for using up those odds and ends. You could even get creative with your left over yarn and do the straps in contrasting colours!

You only need a set of 3mm and 2.5mm needles, a 2mm crochet hook and a darning needle.
The pattern uses No.3 / lightweight / DK yarn
