Cuttlefish Bag
This is a written pattern with multiple photos to show the process of stitching the arms together and attaching to the body as well as knitting the frilly fins of the body of the cuttlefish. There are 7 pages in the PDF.
This is a more advanced pattern and you will need to know how to:
Knit in the Round
Knit W&T short rows
Knit Lifted Increases
The Grafting Stitch to attach the arms to the body
Pick up and knit
If any of these are new techniques for you, my suggestion is to check out some YouTube videos on each (Very Pink Knits is a great start).
We all need a small bag to hold our dice or other small items, especially for tabletop gaming. Why not make a very unique and fun bag to carry yours in!
My newest dice bag design, this cuttlefish holds a lot of dice but is also just a lot of fun to knit and show off at your table.
This knitting pattern will show you how to knit the entire bag, from body to arms with pictures to help explain. This project doesn’t take much yarn, so it’s a good project to use up leftover yarns. I’ve used fancy hand dyed yarn as well as cheap acrylics and they all look great in this pattern!
This bag is wonderful to hold all sorts of small objects, such as dice, cards, talismans, gifts, or gems.
I have test knit this pattern many times, but to error is human, so if you find an error please let me know so that I may correct it!
