I designed this colourwork cowl initially for my daughter, inspired by the autumn colours in West Wales.

The three sizes are ages 2 | 5 and adult. The finished objects will fit most toddlers, children, teens and adults accordingly. The size 2 might come up tight over some toddlers with larger heads! If this is the case don’t switch to a smaller needle for the rib.

The cowl knits up really quickly in Aran weight yarn and 5mm needles, a great weekend project for a confident beginner.
