This cute sweater is both practical and classic and would be suitable for everyday wear. The sweater is worked top down (no seaming) with a pretty lacy pattern worked down the front.
Pattern would be suitable for the Intermediate knitter.

SIZES
A -- 0-6 months
B -- 1 year
C -- 2 years
D -- 3-4 years
E -- 5-6 years
F -- 7-8 years

SKILL LEVEL: Intermediate

NEEDLES REQUIRED
3.75 mm (US 5 : UK 9) circular needles, 40 cm (16 in) and 60 cm (24 in) long.
One set of double pointed
3.75 mm (US 5 : UK 9) needles, or needle size to obtain tension.

OTHER MATERIALS
6 stitch markers, 1 to be in a
contrast colour.
Darning needle to sew in ends

TENSION
22 sts x 30 rounds = 10 cm (4 in) worked in stocking stitch on 3.75 mm (US 5 : UK 9) needles.

YARN REQUIREMENTS
8 ply, Double Knit -- any brand as long as you achieve the same tension as the pattern. The pictured sweater was knitted in Fiddlesticks Peppin 8 (Colour 803) 110 m / 120 yds

C -- 225 g, 490 m / 535 yds
D -- 260 g, 570 m / 625 yds
