I love all animals! And I love dogs! And I sure do love dachshunds!
And you will love this cute little fellow, too, wagging his tail and having this cute dachshund look.

The beanie has a two-colored (= corrugated) ribbing, followed by a dog paw border pattern, that surrounds the dachshunds.
There is also a little butterfly in front of the dachshund. As he isn’t chasing it (or he might not have seen it by now ;-) he is a calm and cute little fellow.

Otherwise the beanie is plain colored. It can be made longer by adding additional one color rounds at the bottom and at the top before the decreases.

It is completely knitted with 4-ply sock yarn leftovers.

You need 4-ply sock yarn in the following colors:
about:
15 g in grass green
25 g in dark green,
20 g in brown,
10 g in black,
10 g in lighter brown (it should be clearly distinguishable from the brown),
25 g in off-white (yardage 209 -210 meters/50 g).

But you can also use Acrylic yarn or merino yarn of similar weight and thicker. For bigger heads go up one or two needle sizes and/or use thicker yarn or both.

It will look cute in other colors, too.

Ich liebe Tiere! Ich liebe Hunde! Und Dackel sind was ganz besonderes.
Hier ist also so ein kleines Kerlchen mit dem süßesten Dackelblick den ich in ein Strickmuster reinbekommen habe.
Die Mütze hat einen zweifarbigen Bund. Dann kommt die Pfotenbordüre, die auch die Dackelbordüre umgibt. Vor den Dackeln ist ein kleiner Schmetterling. Bisher hat der Dackel ihn noch nicht gesehen… Wer weiss, was gleich passiert?

Die Mütze ist wieder komplett in 4-fach Sockenwolle gestrickt.
Es genügen Reste.

Ich habe ungefähr diese Mengen gebraucht (Lauflänge 209 - 210 m/50 g):
15 g in grasgrün
25 g in dunkelgrün,
20 g in braun,
10 g in schwarz,
10 g in hellbraun (es sollte vom dunkelbraun abstechen!)
25 g in Natur

Für größere Köpfe könnt Ihr eine größere Nadel oder etwas dickeres Garn nehmen. Auch Acrylgarn oder Merinogarn ähnlicher oder etwas dickerer Stärke sind für die Mütze geeignet.
