Materials and tools:
You will need 3 colors of yarn:
Black and red - for the dachshund;
Any bright one - for a collar.

My mini dachshund version is crocheted with Yarnart JEANS split in half,
hook 1.0 mm.
The size of the dog is 9 cm in height, 10 cm in length.

The pattern is universal for any yarn in thickness and composition.

The eyes are painted with acrylic paint on the fabric and glued. You can also use plastic ones with plugs. Select the diameter depending on the size of your toy.

Of course, you will need a filler, scissors, a needle for sewing parts and other favorite handy tools for work.
