Knit a sweet little Dachshund Puppy. This toy is quick to knit and only uses small amounts of yarn. To knit this dog you will need to cast on and off, knit, purl, work increases and decreases, sew seams, and a little embroidery to finish.

Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, the puppy is knitted in DK weight cotton yarns on single pointed needles (not in the round).

NEEDLES
A pair of 2.5mm single pointed knitting needles (US 1.5).

RECOMMENDED YARN
Paintbox Yarns Cotton DK; double knitting/light worsted weight; 100% acrylic; a few grammes in each colour.

NOTIONS
Tapestry needle, toy filling, beads for eyes and embroidery thread for the nose.

SIZES
One size only - The puppy is 11cm long x 7.5cm tall.

TECHNIQUES
For confident beginners and above, other techniques used include casting on and off, knits, purls, increases and decreases, and seaming to finish.
