This little cutie makes a great gift and a wonderful conversation piece for any room. Perfect for that someone special who is hard to buy for…..now you can make them a super cool Dachshund Tissue Box Cover. They also make a great gift for a Dachshund lover. The kids love them too.
You will need to sew a few of the pieces onto the body but there is full instructions on placement and photos to help you and the sewing is very simple.
They are made to fit the Large and thick (kleenex) tissue boxes but can be adjusted in size by using a finer yarn and smaller hook size.
Let’s get started and make your very own Dachshund tissue box cover.
Live Love Crochet Shaz
Yarn Required:
All yarn is 8ply or worsted weight yarn. 150gms of Dachshund colour, 10gms of white, 20gms black.
You’ll need:
- 2.5mm and 3mm Crochet Hooks, Yarn needle, Scissors, Pins
- Small amount of wadding to fill the paws, legs and head.
- Tissue Box
Skill Level: Confident Beginner ( you must be able to work basic crochet stitches including increasing and decreasing and of course be able to read a pattern)
