Daffodil Flower
by Melbangel
What better way to usher in Spring than crocheting a whole bouquet of these bright yellow Daffodils and bring lots of sunshine and warmth into your home or office :)
The Daffodil, aka Narcissus, symbolises rebirth and is synonymous with Spring. It is March birth flower and the 10th wedding anniversary flower.
As the first flower of spring, the daffodil is the American Cancer Society’s symbol of new life and hope that a cure for cancer will be found.
Always present these flowers in a bunch (never singly) for good fortune and to ensure happiness.
Each stalk measures about 10 inches (25.4cm) long and the flower has a diameter of 4 inches (10.2cm).
