I designed this square originally for my baby boy’s blanket. The blanket is made up of three designs, each has a very special meaning to me. His due date was in early March so I knew that the parks and road verges will be filled with cheerful daffodils in blooms - and so I decided to include this square in my little spring baby’s blanket.

The finished square, using DK yarn and a 4mm hook measures approximately 15cm x 15cm (6in x 6in) after blocking.

Materials:
4mm crochet hook
DK weight yarn (I used West Yorkshire Spinners ColourLab in Citrus Yellow, Coral Crush and Bottle Green)
