This Christmas bauble can be made in most yarns around a polystyrene ball that fits. The bauble can be worked either flat or in the round, instructions for both are included. Decorate with embroidery, glitter thread and beads for an extra festive touch.

Materials
Small bauble: Sandnes Garn Alpakka Silke, shade 4327. You need about 5 g yarn for 1 bauble. 5 cm diameter polystyrene ball.

Big bauble: Sandnes Garn Sunday, shade 4033, held together with Sandnes Garn Tynn Silk Mohair, shade 4323.You need approx. 10 g Sunday and 5 g Tynn Silk Mohair for 1 bauble. 8 cm diameter polystyrene ball. Optional bead for hanging.

Big bauble with glitter: Filcolana Tilia shade 335 held together with Filcolana Paia shade 709. You need approx. 5 g Tilia and 5 g Paia for 1 bauble. 8 cm diameter polystyrene ball. Optional bead for hanging.

Suggested needles
Small bauble: 2.5 mm double-pointed needles, if working in the round. 2.5 mm needles if worked flat.
Big bauble (with or without glitter): 3.5 mm double-pointed needles if working in the round, 3.5 mm needles if working flat.

28 sts stockinette stitch = 10 cm on 2.5 mm
25 sts stockinette stitch = 10 cm on 3.5 mm
