This pattern is written for 2 cakes of any Dahlia yarn from Hobbii.
We have used two of the same colour, opting to pull one from the centre and one from the outside to give the mirrored colour effect. You can use two different coloured cakes for a totally different effect.

This pattern is for a beautiful rectangular garment which can be worn as a shawl/wrap or used as a light blanket.

Gague is not important, however if you would like a shorter but wider item cast on more stitches. For a longer narrower item cast on less stitches.

You will also need a pair of 3.75mm circular needles. We use circular needles so that all the stitches will fit comfortably on the needles. It is still knit as a flat piece.

This shawl has a picot cast on and off, which can be replaced with your preferred cast on/off if you do not like the picot edge.

As the piece is knitting an I-cord is created up both sides giving a lovely neat edge.
