Construction is modular with mitered decreases in a lace faggoting pattern. This lace has action on both right-side and wrong-side rows. Some courses have mitered decreases on both right-side and wrong-side rather than only right-side. A pick-up row between courses is followed by a “fudge” row that can be used for correcting stitch count. Pattern is easily ripped back to previous pick-up row.

Video on the designer’s blog shows an unusual method for trapping yarns to prevent having to weave in ends for each module.
