Dahlia Sweater
The Dahlia Sweater is a fun make that makes a huge statement!
It features an openwork petal back, a slight flutter hem, and a lace up front. It is made in all one piece, so there is NO seaming (yay!) It is made with a lightweight yarn, so it’s a perfect spring or early fall layer.
Difficulty: intermediate / advanced (this is not a photo tutorial - you must be adept at reading patterns)
It looks hard at first, but once you get going it’s a breeze.
Materials:
2-3 skeins of Ice Yarns Mohair Pastel (10% mohair / 15% wool/ 75% acrylic / 100 g / 500 m/ 546 yards) (or another weight 2 yarn yarn)
4.25 mm hook (for size S/M)
4.5 mm hook (for size L/XL)
Language: US crochet terms
SIZING:
The Dahlia Sweater comes in 2 sizes: S/M and L/XL. The size is determined by the gauge of the project and the size hook that is used. The S/M can fit up to a 36’’ bust and the L/XL can fit up to a 41’’ bust. The sweater could easily be made larger by using a weight 3 yarn and increasing your hook size.
