Blurring the line between a cowl, dickie, and snood, Daily Essential is as versatile as it is cozy. The pattern offers options for a classic silhouette or a split hem, allowing you to customize Daily Essential to just the way you like it! This pattern encourages you to dive into your stash and create something truly unique. The bulky fabric is achieved by holding 1 strand of worsted or aran weight yarn with 2 strands of fingering weight yarn, offering endless opportunities to play with striking marls or subtle monochrome pairings. It’s perfect for those special skeins you’ve been saving, letting you create something functional and meaningful!

CONSTRUCTION
Instructions are included for both a split hem and traditional circular cowl. Cowl is CO and worked in the round from the bottom up. Split Hem version is CO with Front and Back worked flat, separately. Front and Back are then joined in the round and the remainder of the cowl is worked in the round. Needle sizes are changed throughout to create subtle shaping.

Needle C: Size US 9 (5.5 mm) 24” / 60cm circular needle, or a needle two sizes smaller than needle A
