Dainty Blossoms Shawl
Designed for the 2024 PURL Indiana Yarn Crawl, this shawl uses one skein of sock yarn (typically 100g) and one mini skein of sock yarn (typically 20g).
Sample is knit in Indigo Guinea’s limited edition PURL Indiana sock yarn/mini skein set (120g total), but can be knit in any sock yarn and coordinating mini skein.
This shawl features an easy to memorize pattern for “on the go” kitting, and is a good introduction to lace work and reading lace charts. It is knit flat with a size 4 needle (24” or 32” cable).
Finished size is 77” top long edge, 52” side edge, and 40” cast off edge. Gauge is 18 stitches per 4”, but gauge is not critical.
