Dainty Daisies is a delicate lacy cardigan and booties set for your special newborn. It is a special design that although it is delicate and lace-like, it does not have any holes in the design that can entangle little fingers.
The pdf is 8 pgs long and written for sizes 3,6,9,12 months and actually does not take a lot of yarn. I used exactly 2 50g balls of Schachenmayr Bravo Baby Smiles yarn for the cardigan in 6 months size - including the booties. If working the larger sizes, be sure to add another one or two balls to complete the set.
Daisy Stitch is not a difficult design and yet it is one that will surely be admired and used again and again. Easy to knit raglan sleeves are highlighted with lace effects on the raglan edges as well. A go-to pattern for anyone who wants to make something special for the wee one in your life.
The booties also incorporate the Daisy Stitch and can be worked to fit all sizes.
