Dainty Fingerless Mitts
I made these as a little gift for a friend of mine.
I used a lovely Ice Yarn called Merino Gold Batik. Lovely to work with.
They are in two sizes; small and medium.
Two hooks are used, one for normal crochet and a larger hook for the Tunisian crochet.
They don’t take a lot of yarn, I barely used a 50gm for the pair of mitts.
I am hooked on working with Tunisian crochet alongside ordinary crochet, so there are worked in stages with the Honeycomb Tunisian giving them a little twist so to speak.
I would say the skill level is intermediate, as there is a lot of stitches to know and to be able to work with different techniques, but; an advanced beginner would also find enjoyment and a sense of accomplishment in making them
The length can be adjusted as you work them….the cuffs and the hand.
I am a beginner designer, so ask you all to bear with me, and to let me know if there is any need to alter the patttern..any feedback is very welcome.
