Dainty Slippers for the Boudoir
This pattern is
available for free.
In pastel shades these slippers would be very dainty. In black or a deep bronze they would be smart and serviceable. For bedroom use they will be very much appreciated as the weather becomes warmer. They are simply and quickly made, and, of course, quite inexpensive.
Materials: Two large balls of Clark’s Anchor Flox, No. 3, is sufficient for a full-size bed-room slipper on No. 6 soles. Vicar’s Arctic Soles (with heels) are the best for this purpose as the small heel avoids the extreme flatness that is usually found so uncomfortable in a bedroom slipper. Use a No, 00 steel hook, which is the coarsest size, and work tightly.
