Daiquiri Collection
The hexagon shape of this purse looks great in a variety of yarn weights and textures, even felting. A modular technique makes it easy to knit and portable, adding on as you go. A foldover flap that closes with an i-cord button, and a gusset that does double duty as a strap add practicality, so you can actually use this purse.
Purse pattern includes instructions for a bulky textured yarn, smooth dk weight yarn, or felt a worsted weight wool yarn. Use a hand-dyed or self-striping yarn if you don’t want to fuss with color changes. This is a great stashbuster--take your pick, or make all three!
Gauge for textured version: 16 sts and 28 rows = 4” garter stitch
Gauge for dk weight version: 32 sts and 32 rows = 4” garter stitch
Gauge for felted version: 13 sts and 26 rows = 4” garter stitch
