Daisy Chain Squared
The square pattern is designed to repeat, so you can continue the repeating pattern until the desired size of square is achieved. You can make one-repeat square to join together with others or continue the repeating pattern until the desired size of afghan is achieved.
The pattern can be used for anything from a pillow/cushion cover, table runner, table cloth, placemat, dresser cover, or as a larger item for across the end of the bed.
This pattern is for beginning to intermediate crocheters.
There are small charts in each row of the written pattern to assist with visualising the order of stitches on one side of the shawl and the placement of stitches relative to the row below.
A cardigan can also be made. For examples, see my Georgia Squared Ravelry page www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/georgia-squared and Klaziena Squared Ravelry page www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/klaziena-squared
I suggest cotton acrylic 4 plys from Wolle Amore or KoKonki.
Scheepjes and YarnArt Flowers would also be suitable for this project. The amount required will depend on the size you decide to make your project.
