Daisy Chains a textured stitched tunic sweater that makes use of an easy to achieve star stitch pattern with yoke featuring front button closure and stylish collar, perfect for lazy days comes complete with a matching tote bag, an essential accessory for plucking daisies and making daisy chains suitable for late Spring/Summer wear featured in volume one of my latest book publication, Kalendar Kidz just released June 2015
Pattern Features: A simple yet easy to achieve star stitch pattern produces an intricate detail sure to delight. Plain stockinette stitch worked to compliment the star stitch pattern for the top section and Henley neckline that features a front button placket worked in contrast with the option to work in one color
Construction: worked flat; back and forth in rows. Pattern begins with sleeves worked first from cuff to armholes that are later joined to main body, (worked from bottom in one piece to armholes) for raglan shaping along with featured front closure then worked together in one piece to rolled neckline, includes back button closure with buttonhole placement. Collar worked from picked up stitches. Three quarter length sleeves seamed at completion. Tote Bag worked flat; back and forth in rows. Pattern begins at top edge of front, worked in one piece featuring a matching start stitch pattern with plain stockinette stitch worked for flap with button-loop closure
