Hello there… my DAISY DAYS PONCHO is created as a short poncho to keep the shoulders warm and allow the arms from the elbows, to still swing free. You can adapt the pattern for any size child to adult neck size/height - weight/ply of yarn and hook size. It is all up to your imagination. I love to create patterns that the creator can adapt so easily.

NOTES to read before starting pattern

[[If you choose to use a thicker yarn – eg: chunky yarn/12 ply with a larger size
hook; you will need to work 10 less chain stitches with the beginning chain
]]
[[If you choose to change to a thinner yarn – eg: 8/4 ply and using hook sizes that correspond with the appropriate yarns; then please add on up to multiples of 10 chain stitches to the beginning chain row. {always stick to the odd number - 46, 56, 66, 76, 86 chain and so on, for the chain row. {{ eg: 8 ply – add 10 extra stitches, 4 ply – add 20 extra stitches ? But in saying all that; will depend on how small you want the neck hole too}}]]
*****
Poncho is worked from neck to lower edge. Then ribbing added to the neck last.
