Two colors are used. Matching colors, with some contrast, is recommended.
Color A (toe, heel, cuff): 140 m (150 yards)
Color B (foot and leg): 280 m (310 yards)

Yardage is given for 9” foot length. Different foot length (or different gauge) will affect the yardage needed.

The socks are knit toe up with an easy lace pattern on the instep. The heel mimics a traditional heel flap and heel turn. The lace on the leg is a combination of easy lace, Estonian lace and nupps.

This pattern is available as a Warm Up pattern for Sock Madness 6, February 5. to February 29. Notice that the pattern at this point has not been test knit!
