Daisy-Edged Handkerchief
This is a pattern that you can easily complete in a weekend. It’s a lovely little handkerchief with a daisy-stitch border.
Use a stretchy-plant-based yarn such as Queensland Collection’s Sugar Rush. The soft sugar cane viscose is stretchy enough to make the daisy stitch easy and also soft enough to make handkerchief usage practical.
Daisy Stitch Instructions:
Purl into the next 3 stitches but leave those stitches on the left needle. Work a yarn-over, then purl back into those same 3 stitches again. Slide the 3 stitches off the left-hand needle. Don’t despair if you have trouble the first few times – you’ll get the hang of it quickly.
