There are two separate sizes of bag in this pattern.

One bag is designed to be knitted in Chunky yarn (tension 14sts and 19 rows to measure 4inx4in). It measures at its widest approximately 28.5cm x 19.5cm (11in x 7.5in)

The other bag is knitted in Double Knitting yarn (tension 22sts and 28 rows to measure 4inx4in). It measures at its widest approximately 22.5cm x 14cm (9in x 5.5in)

The bags are designed to be easy to knit yet have an effective impact.
