Daisy Lane Handbag
Materials Used:
Size N – 9.0 mm crochet hook
3 skeins Lion Brand Hometown USA – Hoboken Honey
1 skein Lion Brand Hometown USA – Houston Cream
One pair of handles (I used Purse-n-alize-it! Wood & Rope Handles 6″ x 7-1/4″) – see note below
Tapestry needle for weaving in ends
Stitch marker
Gauge:
4″ x 4″ = 9 sc, 11 rows
Finished Size Approximately:
Body of bag = 14″ wide x 11″ tall
A Note About Handles:
You certainly do not have to use the same purse handles that I used, but if you want to be able to attach your handles using the pattern instructions, you will need to use handles that attach to the purse via O-rings or D-rings.
Pattern Notes:
This purse is worked mostly in continuous rounds without turning or chaining between rounds, with the exception of rounds 17 – 19, where you will work a little differently in order to crochet the purse handles directly into the body of the purse.
