Daisies feel like summer - sitting in the grass and enjoying a picnic perhaps?

Why not make a pillow and bring a little piece of summer into the house all year round?

I designed and hand knit this 18”/45cm Daisy pillow cover used DK/light worsted/8ply weight yarn.
Gauge is important for the cover itself, but you could use oddments of other yarns from your stash to make the petals and centre.

The cover has an envelope closure secured with buttons so that it can be easily removed to change your seasonal décor or for washing if needed.

The pillow is knit first and then each petal and the flower centre are knit separately and sewn in place to create the flower.
