I created this design with myself in mind I know there are alot of mommy and me designs so i decided why not cater to the grandmas out there so this design is a on the go grandma and granddaughter !! sizes of the purse and headband are as follows (sizes are adjustable)
8 3/4 in height by 10in width by 2 1/2 in depth (childs purse) according to craft yarn council a childs head circumference is 18 to 20 in. so I made it 18 in circumference . Adult purse was 12 in width by 10 in height by 3 in depth and headband adult circumference is 21 to 23 so I made it 21 in circumference. Hook size 3.75 mm was used along with 2 types of yarn in 3 different colors a round about idea as to how much yarn is needed is provided in the pattern with a video light yellow gold are in red heart super saver and in bernat was a peaches and cream color I believe. I also used a 7 in zipper for both of the purses 4 buttons 3/4 in and 2 buttons in 1/2 in feel free to use what color you want I had on hand some recyclable buttons in size 3/4 in I used for the keychain holder a soft peach . You will also need wool sewing thread for the buttons and sewing on the cotton fabric color of your choosing to line the purse. This unique purse has a divider and a beautiful daisy keychain special for your keys. a secret pocket along with one on the outside of the purse. . I also created a cute headband with a daisy on it for decoration to go along with the purse just an added extra.
