Daisy Raglan Top
This is a Raglan style top, worked in the round using simple stitches. Its easily adjustable to be shorter, longer, have no sleeves, short sleeves, long sleeves, etc.
My patterns are written for Plus sizes 1 through 5X, however this pattern is easy to adjust to a larger size or an in-between size by adjusting the number of rounds you do in any particular part.
Pictures are at the end of the document so it is easier to print!
Yarn: Sport Weight (#2) yarn. Recommend a 50/50 cotton & acrylic blend, however any same weight yarn should be fine. Suggested yarns: Premier Cotton Fair, Gazzal Baby Cotton, Paton’s Grace, IceYarn Lorena, Etrofil Amurgurami, etc. see sizing below for yarn quantity estimates.
Hook: 3.5mm hook. If you have a tight tension, consider going up a hook size to 3.75 or a 4mm.
Sizing: measure around your torso (under the arms and just above the bust) and choose the best size below. The garment is designed to fit close, with a slight bit of stretch, but not tight or form fitting. If you are between sizes, or have a larger bust than average, go up a size. Directions are given at the end of the pattern for adjusting size if needed.
Plus 1X 110cm; Plus 2X 120cm; Plus 3x 130cm; Plus 4x 140cm; Plus 5x 150cm.
For sizes larger than 5x: contact me via facebook and I would be happy to help adjust stitch counts for you.
Yarn Quantities: its recommended to overbuy on yarn if possible, so that you can make fit adjustments to suit your needs. Amounts are based on 24 torso rounds total, including waistband & 6 to 8 rounds total per sleeve – longer or shorter torso sections and sleeves will change amounts needed.
Plus 1X 800m; Plus 2x 950m; Plus 3x 1100m; Plus 4x 1250m; Plus 5x 1400m
