Daisy Scrunchie er en artig scrunchie som strikkes med form som en tusenfryd. Den har også en fin baseform for å lage andre typer blomster som du enkelt kan få til ved å variere fargene på midtparti og kronblader. Daisy Scrunchie strikkes fra midten og utover. Midtpartiet strikkes rundt i glattstrikk på liten rundpinne eller sett pinner. Det settes inn strikk og maskene strikkes så sammen med oppleggskanten. Deretter plukkes det opp masker langs kanten til kronblader. Kronbladene strikkes ferdig hver for seg.

Scrunchien kommer i tre ulike størrelser: liten, medium og stor. Størrelser medium og stor er beregnet på voksne og større barn. Den minste størrelsen er kanskje best egnet for barn.

Den hvite og gule scrunchien (stor størrelse) på bildene i oppskriften er strikket i Filcolana Arwetta Classic i fargene 135 Straw sammen med Filcolana Tilia i fargen 211 Banana (midten) og 101 Natural White (kronblad) sammen med Sandnes Garn Tynn Silk Mohair i fargen 1012 Natur. Den rosa scrunchien (medium størrelse) er strikket i Sandnes Garn Sunday i fargen 4313 Frozen Yoghurt sammen med Knitting for Olive Silk Mogair i fargen Flamingo. Den lilla scrunchien (liten størrelse) er strikket i Sandnes Garn Sunday i fargen 5224 Lys Lilla sammen med Sandnes Garn Tynn Silk Mohair i fargen 5214 Lys Krokus. De bakerste bildene er tatt av teststrikker Helene Dæhlie og er strikket i vikinggarn bambino + sandnes tynn silk mohair til den innerste delen, og filcolana tilia + fabelknitwear athena til kronbladene.

Daisy Scrunchie is a fun scrunchie shaped as a Daisy. It also works as a nice base for you to create a variety of other flowers simply by varying the colors of the center and petals of the flower. Daisy scrunchie is worked from the center and out. The center is worked in the round in stockinette stitch on small circular needle or double pointed needles (or use magic loop). You insert an elastic and the stitches are knit together with the cast-on-edge to close the work around the elastic. You then pick up stitches along the edge for the petals. The five petals are worked individually.

Daisy Scrunchie is available in three different sizes: small, medium and large. Sizes medium and large is meant for adults and larger children. The smallest size is probably best suited for small children.

The white and yellow scrunchie in the pictures in the pattern is knit in Filcolana Arwetta Classic in the color 135 Straw together with Filcolana Tilia in the color 211 Banana (center) and 101 Natural White (petals) held together with Sandnes Garn Tynn Silk Mohair in the color 1012 Natur. For the pink (size medium) and purple (size small) scrunchies the centers are worked in Sandnes Sunday in the color 1001 Hvit held together with Sandnes Garn Tynn Silk Mohair in the color 1012 Natur. The petals of the pink scrunchie are knit in Sandnes Garn Sunday in the color 4313 Frozen Yoghurt held together with Knitting for Olive Silk Mohair in the color Flamingo. For the purple scrunchie, the petals are knit in Sandnes Garn Sunday in the color 5224 Lys Lilla held together with Sandnes Garn Tynn Silk Mohair in the color 5214 Lys Krokus. The two backmost pictures are taken by testknitter Helene Dæhlie and is knit in vikinggarn bambino + sandnes tynn silk mohair for the center, and filcolana tilia + fabelknitwear athena for the petals.
