I have been making flower hair clips and have had friends clip them to ponytails. It dawned on me that I could crochet around a hair elastic and make ponytail holders too! Here is a pattern for a fun crochet flower with attached ponytail holder. There are so many GREAT possibilities for this flower. Make it a daisy, make it patriotic, use your favorite colors and fun buttons!
I have included pictures to help with bits where I wanted more explanation, but this is a pretty easy pattern.
