The time has arrived to write up the pattern that fellow designer Nicole Ratliff and I have used for years to create our longies and shorties. It is not so much a pattern but a recipe and blending of ideas that create the perfect fit, time and time again. You can literally use any yarn, any weight, any needles and get still get that perfect fit.

Includes instructions for Longies and shorties, as well as where to insert cables (of your choosing), how to do an elastic waistband and pockets! I am in the process of writing a skirt pattern soon that will include bloomers, soakers and of course beautiful skirts. (Aloha Flirty Skirty will be releasing December 2011)

If you are brand new to knitting, this probably isn’t the easiest pattern to start with, you will have to do some simple math based on gauge, it also uses short rows and Kitchener stitch (with links to videos) and lots of common knitting abbreviations.

Feel free to use this pattern in whatever way you wish! For yourself, your store or for customs. No Licensing required. All that I ask is that you refer back to us and link to the pattern or our store. Thanks and Happy Knitting :)
